Beauty tips for skin and hair care

Makeup in general is not just covering up the imperfections on the face to keep them looking good. It is also an art form where every little thing has its place. One of the most popular forms of makeup and the best way to go about it is by using concealer.

Concealers are great because they make your features appear fuller and softer compared to when you apply your foundation. Also, this product can accentuate the flaws on your skin for extra emphasis.

You cannot go wrong with any concealer for your face. However, there are certain types of products that work well for you.  The ones that I usually use for my makeup.

I would say two kinds are the absolute essentials for me and they are lip glosses and eyeshadows. Lip glosses help you cover up the wrinkles and fine lines under your lips. You can achieve this effect by applying a layer of liquid on top of your lipstick before putting it on your foundation.

Eyeshadows are more than just highlighting the eye area; they are also meant to hide the dark circles in your eyes and give them a nice color tone.

If you are someone who gets headaches, you should consider getting some calming eye shadows. After all, it is only natural for us to get tired while looking at the same object for an extended time.

Once you’ve gotten used to such darkness around your eyes, you will notice a change in lightness. In addition to this, there are several other reasons why you should never skip eyeliner and mascara.

Firstly, they do wonders for the lashes and secondly, the way you apply them on your face changes the way your entire skin looks. My personal favorites are black glittering eyeliner and gel liner.

If you want to get rid of dark circles, then get yourself some silver metallic black eyeliner. Just make sure you don’t overdo it, otherwise, your eyes will show a stark contrast against your cheeks.

Finally, as an additional perk, silver metallic eyeshadow can even blur out your lashes for those times when you’re running out of hairspray. That’s pretty impressive! So what exactly should we look for on our faces? First of all, let’s mention exfoliation.

Everyone knows it’s important, but unfortunately, not everyone does their part. Make-up remover wipes are ideal when you want to clear off dead skin cells, dirt, and oils from your face and keep the makeup away. They remove the grime that could build up over time and prevent new acne from forming due to clogged pores.

As far as foundation goes, you should consider choosing something lightweight but does not compromise coverage. A foundation that covers your whole face in a smudge-free setting and doesn’t leave behind white patches is always a winning combination.

A great tip would be to blend some cream blush with water. Then take a bit of powder and dip your brush into the powder so you create a thin layer without splashing any oil onto your face.

You need to avoid trying to highlight dark spots, especially if the rest of your foundation isn't too high quality either. Speaking of brightening, you should opt for brighter shades like fuchsia, emerald green, burgundy, rose gold, etc. Be subtle about it and stick to neutral colors for the best results.

Lastly, remember to apply sunscreen every day. You can choose between the mineral (e.g., titanium dioxide), pea (e.g., argan oil), organic SPF (e.g., niacinamide), or chemical (e.g., zinc oxide).

Not to forget the SPF, this means applying a moisturizer that has a broad spectrum of ingredients in it. Remember to wear sunscreen again after sweating. You do not want oily residue on your skin, so stick to hydrating creams whenever possible. Overall, combining these things will turn your face from dull and drab into a glowing mess.
